1、在選擇扭力扳手時，要根據(jù)螺栓或螺母的尺寸來選擇合適開口尺寸的扭力扳手。如果扭力扳手的開口尺寸大于螺栓或螺母的尺寸，那在使用時，容易滑脫并損傷螺件的六角。如果扭力扳手的開口尺寸太小，那就無法嵌入到螺栓或螺母中進行扭動。

2、在使用扭力扳手時為防止扳手損壞和滑脫，應使拉力作用在開口較厚的一邊如此才能用上力。另外在使用扭力扳手時，要注意開口不能出現(xiàn)“八”字形，以免損壞螺母和扳手。

3、扭力扳手是按人手的力量來設計的，人手力量越大，扭力扳手在旋轉螺紋、螺母時的力量越大。如果遇到較緊的螺紋件，用扭力扳手也不能使其松動的話，切記不能用捶打工具錘擊扳手，以免損壞扳手，可以適當調整扳手的用力方向，找到合適的發(fā)力點。另外還要注意的是除了套筒扳手能套裝加力桿，其他扳手都不能套裝加力桿，扭力扳手也不能。遇到無法擰動的螺紋緊固件，不能胡亂給扭力扳手加裝加力桿，以防損壞扳手或螺紋連接件。

6、在使用扭力扳手旋緊螺栓時，應均勻使力，不得利用沖擊力。簡單來說就是不要用錘擊工具來錘擊扳手，使其在短時間內獲得沖擊力，從而帶動整只扳手旋轉，使扳手將螺栓旋緊，這種做法容易損壞扳手。

7、如果長期不用扭力扳手，建議把扭力扳手的調節(jié)標尺刻線退扭矩小數(shù)值處，這樣可以延長扳手的使用壽命。
